The purpose of developing a professional development for technology is to ensure that there are goals get for technology and that teachers make sure that they are developing as teachers. Technology is not a natural thing in the classroom it’s something that is implemented. It is important to make sure time frame is correct so that learning has a pace. In addition, it important to make sure that students and teachers are computer literate so workshops must have planned. It is important that teachers are partake in indulge in creating these plans because school set apart these developments to make sure that they meet the requirement of state and city and the school system. It is also important so that teachers learn what they need to know so that can teach. Teachers don’t know everything. Knowledge is also in the power of listening so it is important that teachers listen to colleagues to see what they can improve in, also to look at results and compare. Issues that can occur is teachers might not agree with each other or not feel like they have need help with development. They might not have open ears in development. Also, older teachers might not want to use technology because they are used to traditional teaching. This could cause future problems because teacher development can fail allowing our students to fail in their growth of technology. It is important that we as teacher decide to always have somewhat of an open mind because our world is forever evolving, we might be our children’s only hope.
